Many Old Favourites in German Games Charts January 2025
The first German PC and console games charts for 2025 include many old favourites, from EA Sports FC 25 to GTA V and Hogwarts Legacy. Only one game makes it into the charts for the first time. Eight of the 20 games are published by Electronic Arts.
Electronic Arts' EA Sports FC 25 remains at the top of the charts for the third consecutive month. Grand Theft Auto V follows in second place, more than eleven years after its release. Hogwarts Legacy from Warner Bros. Games secured third place. Rockstar Games again: Red Dead Redemption 2 climbs to number 4, overtaking Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The only new entry in January 2025 is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD from Nintendo at number 19. With the release of the PC version, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from Square Enix re-enters the charts at number 15. And The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is also back in the charts, reaching the top 10.
