Co-founder Gunnar Lott has stepped down from the agency Visibility right before its rebranding as keySquare. Moving forward, he will dedicate his efforts to his long-running games podcast project Stay Forever.

Lott co-founded Visibility Communications in 2013 (in German) alongside Carolin Freitag, who served then and will continue serving as the CEO of keySquare. News of the Berlin-based communications service provider's return to the name keySquare was announced only yesterday. According to LinkedIn, Lott ended his involvement with the company at the end of 2024. However, the experienced communications manager had withdrawn into the background much earlier and was no longer involved in the agency's operational business.

It comes as little surprise that the former editor-in-chief of GameStar and ex-Head of PR manager and communications director at Gameforge and Flaregames is now focusing on his podcast project. After all, the gaming podcast Stay Forever, which he founded with Christian Schmidt, is one of Germany’s most successful gaming podcast brands.

In spring 2024, Schmidt and Lott embarked on a live tour across Germany with Stay Forever Live, and two additional dates are already planned for 2025. The podcast, produced and marketed by a company of the same name, boasts more than 7,200 paying supporters on Patreon and Steady. This is the result of an analysis by Stay Forever of 20 crowdfunded game podcasts, which the company published on LinkedIn (in German).
