GDC Meets Expectations and Announces Date for 2025
Ahead of the event, Informa predicted that the GDC would attract 30,000 visitors. This was achieved, and the GDC was a success in other ways too. There is also a date for 2025, for which delegations from GSA will presumably be travelling again.
Nearly 30,000 people from all over the world attended the Game Developer Conference (GDC) 2024, according to the organisers' summary. This meant that just as many visitors attended as the organisers had expected (in German) in advance. In total, there were over 1000 speakers at the conference, taking part in 730 sessions, workshops and panels. Over 300 companies used the exhibition to showcase their products and services to the international game development community.
