The London Game Festival (LGF) itself will take place from 2 April to 13 April. Numerous events are planned in England's capital city, including the new consumer trade fair New Game Plus, the renowned BAFTA Awards and the investment conference Games Finance Market.

The UK Games Developer Association, TIGA, is apparently keen to take advantage of the attention generated by the LGF. TIGA has announced the new Start-Up, Scale-Up & Grow Conference for 3 April. The conference is to take place in London at the premises of TIGA's charity partner The Passage and will bring together 25 speakers. The content will cover topics such as raising investment, marketing, leadership and management, and the importance of mentoring.

The speakers already announced include Chris Kingsley, CTO & Co-Founder Rebellion, Gemma Brown, COO, Dovetail Games, Chris McCourt, Investment Director, Mercia Ventures, Joanna Haslam, Design Director Snap Finger Click, Nathalia Garcia, Fractional CMO, Julia Kenny, Head of Console Partnerships Headup and Astrid Refstrup, Developer Relations and Business Development Wings.

With the date of 3 April, TIGA has scheduled the conference to take place at exactly the same time as the LGF. However, the conference is not an official partner event. At least it is not listed as such on the LGF website.
