Well before the start of the next Baller League season, expected in 2025, influencer club Eintracht Spandau have announced four key personnel appointments. Up until now, Hans Sarpei has been leading the Baller League club's squad as head coach. He will now take on the role of sports director. "Together with Hendrik [Ruhe], we have been planning for a while how Eintracht Spandau will attack more seriously than ever before in Season 3 of the Baller League," said Sarpei.

A new head coach has also been appointed: Malte Froehlich. Since 2018, he has been head coach of the German national small field football team, which won the World Cup right from the start. He is currently preparing the national team for the 2024 World Cup in Oman. For almost six years, Froehlich's main job has been that of base coordinator for the German Football Association (DFB). That era is now coming to an end with his move to Eintracht Spandau, where he will be head coach of the club's Baller-League team. "From my position as coach of the German small field football national team, I have of course followed the events surrounding the new leagues with interest and observed the various players and their philosophies," said Froehlich. "I immediately had a very good feeling about Eintracht Spandau, which was quickly confirmed by conversations with Hendrik and Hans. Eintracht Spandau probably have the biggest and most passionate fan base of all the teams in the new leagues, and I want to do my bit to ensure they are rewarded with strong performances from their team."

"What makes Eintracht Spandau special is that two aspects coexist with us that don't really go together - the curious and chaotic content on the one hand and ambitious, serious sports operations on the other," says Hendrik Ruhe, one of the two managing directors of Eintracht Spandau. "Malte is not only probably the strongest talent we could have wished for in terms of performance, he also understands the concept of Eintracht Spandau. That makes him an incredible stroke of luck, and we can be proud of his signing."

In addition to their new head coach, Eintracht Spandau have also secured the services of three players. Having agreed terms with Justin Sauermilch, Spandau have managed to add to their squad from last season. Dominic Reinold and goalkeeper Lukas Betz have joined the EINS squad. Reinold will not only play, but will also act as assistant coach alongside Froehlich.

Eintracht Spandau is a team brand founded by Instinct3 and JvM Nerd and has been competing in the Prime League of League since January 2022. In 2024, the team then entered small field football as part of the Baller League. HandOfBlood aka Maximilian Knabe is the face of the team and takes the most vocal role as the team's president. Since its foundation, Eintracht Spandau has been shaking up the German (e)sports scene and setting itself apart from other teams.
