Shin'en Multimedia Releases Fast Fusion on Switch 2 Launch Day
With Fast RMX, Shin'en Multimedia was at the starting line for the launch of Nintendo Switch. The Munich-based company has once again prepared a high-speed racing game for the upcoming Switch 2 on day one.
Shin'en Multimedia had a game in the pipeline for the launch of the Nintendo Switch on 3 March 2017 in Europe and North America: Fast RMX. And now, for the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 June 2025, the Munich-based company has another title ready: Fast Fusion. It will be available on the eShop for €/$14.99.
The team behind the company, founded in 1999, is proud of the high speed of the anti-grav races, promising action at 60 fps in up to 4K HDR. Fast RMX has already pushed the Switch to its limits. Motion control and HD Rumble are also supported. The game features local split-screen for 4 players and game sharing (nearby and internet).
Shin'en Multimedia CEO Manfred Linzner said in an interview with Nintendo Life: "We support five different graphic settings for TV mode, from 1080p/60fps to 1440p/60fps and up to 4k/60fps. We even have a special 30fps/4k 'Ultra Quality' mode. We tried to make a good compromise for everyone. Everything runs in HDR which you can enjoy directly in Handheld mode or when your TV supports it. 120fps is not supported, but that was mostly because making a game for launch day isn't that easy and we had to decide on a few key features. Perhaps this is something we can bring later with a patch."
In any case, the racing games announced (so far) for the Nintendo Switch 2 console are certainly impressive, such as Fast Fusion, Mario Kart World, F-Zero GX, Kirby Air Riders, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds and Arcade Archives 2: Ridge Racer.
