Patrick Stude Joins Sandisk as PR & Communications Manager
After eight years with Marchsreiter Communications, Patrick Stude has taken up a new position with Sandisk Germany - known for its flash storage and memory solutions, also for gaming. As PR & Communications Manager, he will shape and coordinate communications across GSA, UK, NL, PL and CZ.
Sandisk Germany has a new PR & Communications Manager, Central and Eastern Europe, and his name is Patrick Stude. In January 2017, he joined Marchsreiter Communications as a PR trainee and left the agency as an Account Director. "It's been one hell of a ride," said Patrick Stude. "I was welcomed to an amazing industry, met so many great people – among colleagues, clients, media partners, industry peers. But it was time for a change and to look for new challenges. I'm thrilled to announce that I have joined Sandisk, based out of the Munich, Germany office."
Sandisk has long been part of Western Digital, but as of the end of February 2025, the two companies are going their separate ways. Hard drive manufacturer WD is focusing on HDD technologies, while Sandisk intends to focus on the flash memory market as an independent company. Patrick Stude: "Sandisk is now an independent company, and in a prime position to shape the future of flash memory! Sandisk has played a vital part in the success of flash-based gaming solutions. I am incredibly excited to be a part of this new chapter at a leading global tech innovator while remaining connected to the games industry I love."
For the recently announced Nintendo Switch 2, Sandisk will also offer MicroSD Express cards for memory expansion, complete with printed Mario logos, as will Samsung.
