Dune: Awakening Release Date Confirmed
While Funcom had previously announced a spring 2025 release date, it has now been confirmed that Dune: Awakening will be released on PC in May, just a few days after Doom: The Dark Ages. The character creator and a benchmark are already available on Steam.
Norwegian developer and publisher Funcom (wholly owned by Tencent) has lifted the veil on Dune: Awakening's release date. The open-world multiplayer survival game set on Arrakis will be released on Steam on 20 May. This means that the game will be available just a few days after Doom: The Dark Ages (15 May). Nothing has been revealed about the console versions. The base game will be priced at $49.99/€49.99, with pre-orders starting soon. Reakktor from Hannover and Yager from Berlin were involved in the development of the game.
