Brian Foote is a games industry veteran with senior experience at Amazon, Team17, and Microsoft, as well as a key role in Sony Interactive Entertainment's global third-party team. He replaces Fireshine Games' founder, James Cato, who is retiring.

Fireshine was founded in 2014 and operated as Sold Out until 2022. Its portfolio includes titles such as Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt. Fireshine also serves as a co-publisher of award-winning titles, including Lies of P (Neowiz), [Balatro](/game/balatro) (Playstack), and [Sniper Elite: Resistance](/game/sniper-elite-resistance) from Rebellion, which currently holds the number one spot in the UK GfK charts.
