Second Augsburg Games Awards; Mehring Handing Out Prizes
During his visit to the Augsburg KidsLab, Bavaria's Minister for Digital Affairs, Dr. Fabian Mehring, presented the second Augsburg Games Awards. Mehring praised the GamesLab as a Bavarian talent factory "for the IT geniuses of the future".

As part of the Augsburg KidsLab, more than 700 pupils from 31 classes had previously taken part in free programming workshops and learned how to program their own computer games. At the closing gala, the best games were awarded the "Augsburg Games Award" by Digital Minister Mehring. He presented the three main prizes and emphasized the importance of promoting young talent in the IT sector.
