Aesir Interactive Launches Kickstarter for Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori

Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori is the third instalment in Aesir's series of games based on Windstorm, known as Ostwind in Germany. It is said to "set a new standard" for open-world, horse-themed action-adventure games. The game is being developed in Unreal 5, will be released for PC and console by publisher Mindscape, and is being funded by FFF Bayern and BMWK (most likely this is the project with the code name Whisper 3, which received funding of €1,471,162). This is Aesir's first Kickstarter project. If all goes according to plan, the game should go into early access in the summer of 2025 and be released in March 2026.
